Artificial Intelligence

I was involved in AI business since 1998. I started as a knowledge engineer, supporting decision makers with knowledge-based expert systems. Soon I started contributing to software development, primarily with conceptual design and testing; 1999-2004 I was spearheading AI software development, namely the knowledge-based expert system shell Doctus. Having moved to Scotland, I eventually reduced my participation to an external advisory role, until the software was retired in 2022. On this page, I offer snippets of my most recent work in the area of AI that came from bringing together practitioner experience in AI development and my scholarly experience studying human knowledge and learning.
